Continuing Education Workshop: Access and Accommodations in Higher Education, In-Person and Online Strategies for Students with Disabilities

In this session we will review accommodations available through the Americans with Disabilities Act in higher education institutions and how they differ from those offered through the Individualized Education Plan and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). We will also review technology and strategies that can facilitate academic progress and provide equal access whether instruction is online or in the classroom.
