Academic Workshop for Young Women in Business
The number of female business majors is small in comparison to their male counterparts. We want to introduce young high school women to careers in business and give them the tools to be successful.
This workshop aims to demonstrate to young women the opportunities that a business degree will afford them. A panel of successful women executives will speak about their personal experiences and offer advice as participants complete various exercises. The workshop includes role playing, networking, emotional intelligence exercises, and a business simulation.

Benefits of Attending
Students who attend this workshop will learn the benefits of networking, how to work in a team, and a range of other skills necessary to make it in business. They will meet successful alumnae of Widener’s School of Business Administration.
